On October 26 in addition to returning pledge cards to the altar, members will bring brown bags filled with food items for the Helping Center in Marble Falls.   On October 19 grocery brown bags will be availabe with lists of food items for various size families attached.  As members share their treasures, they will also share food with the hungry of the Highland Lakes area.

First, we recognize the blessing of producing earnings from our labor is a gift of God; we could not do it without God's grace.  Second, we trust that God will contiue to provide us whatever we need, so we do not need to hoard this first part.  Third, we recognize God as first in our lives, even ahead of our hunger, our need for security, and our creature comforts.
