Annual Sock and Underwear Drive August 21, 2011
Please bring packages of socks (small), children’s underwear sizes 4-6-8, and travel size deodorants to church on Sunday. Checks will be presented to the school nurses for additional needs. School nurses have always had to use their own money to help needy children and this is our way to help them continue providing health services for the children of the Marble Falls area. Each year we receive beautiful thank you notes for your gifts and they are posted on the bulletin board in the hallway. As you always are, please be generous with your gifts.

Support for the Marble Falls Helping Center
St. John’s Catholic Church is hosting a fundraiser supper for the Helping Center at St. John’s Activity Center, Wednesday, August 10, from 5-8pm. Suggested donation of $8.00 to go to support the Helping Center. Easy way to help our community and not cook.
Essay Submission for Daughters of the Republic of Texas
A student from Trinity submitted the essay "Fall of the Alamo: As Seen Through the Eyes of Davy Crockett" for the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Jane Wells Woods chapter in Burnet County.
