The Rev. C. Andrew Doyle was elected Bishop Coadjutor at the Diocese of Texas Special Session of the 159th Diocesan Council.  He was elected on the fourth ballot.  Bishop-elect Doyle will be consecrated Bishop Coadjutor in October 2008 and will serve as the 9th Bishop of the Diocese of Texas.

Nomination forms are available in the Narthex for the  2009 elected positions of Vestry (3 for 3-year term and 1 for an unexpired term);  Council Delegate (1), Council Alternates (4), and Endowment Fund Trustee (1). Nominees must agree to have their names placed in nomination before forms can be received by a member of the Nominating Committee (Pat Hudson, chair; Pam Link; and Barbara Warden) or by the church office secretarial staff.   Forms must be submitted by August 1 in order to be considered by the Nominating Committee.

Trinity welcomes new Assistant to the Rector, The Rev. Richard Pelkey and his family, Helen, Robert, and Lucas, with a reception following the 10:30 service, Sunday, July 20th. 

The Rev. Kevin Dellaria will be ordained to the priesthood at 7:00 PM on July 11 at Trinity Episcopal Church in Victoria, Texas.
