THE CATALYST PROJECT-CONNECTING NEED WITH OPPORTUNITY

Trinity’s Ministry and Outreach Commission will host a roundtable discussion at the church Tuesday, June16, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The focus of The Catalyst Project is to assist citizens in financially supporting themselves and to be able, eventually, to sustain this on their own.  Leaders will join together to talk about funding new businesses. Beverly Rose, of Texas A & M University, will facilitate. She is a training and development specialist with 16 years experience working in micro credit and small business development in Newfoundland, Canada. She is also a member of St. Francis Church, College Station.

Members of Trinity are invited, as well as representatives of state and city governments, chambers of commerce, bankers and others interested in alternative lending. We have also invited representatives from the Economic Development Board of Marble Falls, which is an entity whose function is to bring businesses to the community. Most importantly, we have invited individuals with limited resources interested in discussing small business ownership.

Teach a man to fish while cooperatively building
a sustainable pond for continual fishing.
