The Rev. Kurt C. Wiesner is the Rector-Elect at Trinity Marble Falls TX. He was born and grew up in Downers Grove, IL, a suburb of Chicago. He earned a B.A. in Vocal Music from the University of Indiana and an M.Div. from the Episcopal Seminary of the Southwest. He was ordained in 2002 and served first as Curate and then as the Canon for Congregational Life at Trinity Cathedral in Cleveland. Kurt was the rector of All Saints’ Littleton, NH from 2008 until January 2015. He then served as the rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Salt Lake City, UT from 2015 until August 2025.

Kurt has previous served as Chaplain to Executive Council, was Chair of Courtesy and Privilege at the 2024 General Convention and chaired the Diocese of Utah’s COM for five and a half years.  Kurt occasionally takes to the internet to marvel about the band U2, check in on his seminary Fantasy Football team of 29 years, and ponder whether or not the Cubs will ever return to the World Series in his lifetime.

Kurt now lives in Marble Falls with his spouse Darlene and their 10-year-old daughter Sienna.
